美国财政部长斯科特·贝森特表示，他最近与日本财务大臣片山皋月沟通时，讨论了强势日元的“可取性”。

　　“我们讨论了强势日元的可取性，因为这能反映日本经济基本面强劲，”贝森特周五在X平台发帖称。此前，日本财务省在有关双方此次通话的通稿中表示，两人重申了对日元被低估的担忧，以及进一步加强合作的意愿。

　　贝森特发帖后，日元维持涨势。当天日本决策者释放信号，试图影响投资者对东京整体经济政策立场的看法。随着市场担忧日本货币政策对汇率的支撑力度，日元近日下跌。

　　当天早些时候，片山皋月在记者会上表示，美国总统唐纳德·特朗普本周在纽约与日本首相高市早苗会谈时，曾向高市表达对日元疲软的关切。

　　贝森特表示，他与片山皋月的通话“延续特朗普总统本周早些时候与高市早苗首相的会谈，体现了美日伙伴关系的稳固”。两人还讨论了“就外汇市场保持密切沟通的重要性”。
