消息面上，近期，戴尔重要股东密集减持股份。Silver Lake Group 提交了 Form 144 限制股出售声明，拟出售 4788 股 C 类普通股，相关股份来自此前按比例实物分配；银湖联合 CEO、戴尔董事 Egon Durban 也提交类似 Form144 声明，拟出售 1800 股 C 类普通股。资料还显示，银湖系多家关联主体在过去 3 个月合计已出售戴尔科技 2048079 股。这类连续披露容易引发市场关注，因为重要股东的减持安排，往往会被投资者解读为短期供给压力增加，或至少意味着部分长期持股方正在进行资产配置调整。
公司管理层方面，同样出现了较密集的持股变动。戴尔科技首席财务官 David Alan Kennedy 披露，其于 9 月 17 日通过两笔交易合计减持 23896 股普通股，减持后仍直接持有 159201 股。总法律顾问兼公司秘书 Richard J. Rothberg 也在同日减持 4000 股普通股，减持后直接持有 132415 股。另有披露显示，公司近期出现 79 笔内部人交易情况，其中包括多笔来自持股 10% 以上股东的出售记录。
