Circle Internet Group and Volante Technologies are partnering to help financial institutions integrate stablecoin payment and settlement capabilities into their existing payment operations.

Under the collaboration, Volante is bringing workflows involving USDC--a stablecoin issued by Circle--into its payments platform, the companies said on Monday.

Volante's customers will be able to assess workflows including minting, redemption, funding, notifications and wallet-to-wallet payments within the same payments infrastructure they already use, allowing them to see how stablecoins can fit within their existing operating models, the companies said.

"As stablecoins become an increasingly important component of modern payments infrastructure, financial institutions need practical ways to understand how digital dollars can fit within existing operations," Circle's Chief Product and Technology Officer Nikhil Chandhok said.
