但官员透露，私下里特朗普对伊朗能否满足他的要求持怀疑态度，并对下属表示，重启轰炸行动可能性很大。 特朗普当前的立场表明，这场处于战争与和平之间临界状态的冲突，很可能再度滑向敌对态势。目前尚不清楚特朗普考虑的打击规模。官员表示，他不愿重启大规模作战行动，部分原因是美国需要储备日渐消耗的弹药，以备其他突发局势。
