MCE Secures Automotive Project Deals in Malaysia, India

MCE (KLSE:MCEHLDG) and its units secured new automotive project contracts in Malaysia and India, according to a Wednesday filing.

In Malaysia, Multi-Code Electronics Industries (M) and MCE Hengtuo will supply electronic and mechatronic components, respectively, to Proton for a designated vehicle program. The project is expected to generate about 15.7 million ringgit in revenue over 84 months from financial year 2028.

In India, its unit MCE Abhishek K Auto Components secured a contract from Deva Autotronics to design and develop mechatronic components for commercial vehicles. The India project carries design and development fees of about 1 million ringgit, and is targeted for completion by early financial year 2028.
