路透9月30日 - 美国最大的电网运营商PJM Interconnection周二表示，已开始对其《2027年长期负荷预测》中拟议的大负荷调整进行年度审查，并采用新指南以更准确地评估项目落地的可能性。
该公司在公告中表示，此次审查主要是由PJM所有区域内数据中心及其他大电力用户对电力需求的增长所驱动。
PJM称，包括多米尼恩能源（Dominion Energy）、NOVEC、第一能源（FirstEnergy）和杜克能源（Duke）在内的约12家公用事业公司于周二向PJM负荷分析小组委员会提交了提案，这些提案主要涉及数据中心，但也可能包括其他高耗电客户。
该电网运营商将结合关于预期需求增长的其他信息，对这些提案进行评估。
PJM表示，还聘请了独立咨询公司查尔斯河咨询公司（Charles River Associates）来评估数据中心的用电需求趋势以及可能影响其进一步增长的因素。该公司将于10月提交评估结果。
PJM表示，将于11月说明如何将所有这些信息纳入2027年长期负荷预测的最终负荷调整方案中，该预测将于1月发布。
