NetApp is launching a storage service with Oracle where its storage and data management capabilities will be natively available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
The partnership is designed to help organizations simplify the migration and management of critical AI and enterprise workloads on the cloud, the data-infrastructure company said Tuesday.
It helps customers move existing workloads to the cloud while minimizing application redesign and storage management changes. For large-scale and regulated companies, the service extends familiar storage capabilities with consistent data management and security.
Customers can manage the storage service through the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console, as well as other familiar operational workflows.
The storage service is planned for general availability within the next 12 months, NetApp said.
