DoorDash将在印度的全球技术中心创造3,000个就业岗位

路透9月30日 - 泰伦加纳邦政府表示，美国外卖平台DoorDash（DASH.O）将通过周三在南部城市海得拉巴开设的全球技术中心，在未来两年内在印度创造3,000个就业岗位。

该公告补充称，该中心初期将容纳负责客户支持以及一般行政职能的团队。

该中心是DoorDash在印度的第二个技术办公室，此前在浦那设有办公室，该公司通过2021年以未披露的金额收购机器人初创公司Chowbotics，获得了该地的软件、数据和分析业务。

各公司正在探索在离岸技术中心（即全球能力中心，简称GCC）中开拓新途径，以削减成本并减少对外部IT承包商的依赖。

这个以客户支持为主的新运营中心将成为DoorDash全球第三个此类服务枢纽，与亚利桑那州坦佩和墨西哥城并列，初期将新增500名专业人员。

DoorDash加入了包括好市多（Costco） COST.O、麦当劳（McDonald's） MCD.N、查尔斯·施瓦布（Charles Schwab） SCHW.N、万豪（Marriott） MAR.O 和西南航空（Southwest Airlines） LUV.N 在内的企业行列，这些公司都在过去几个月内于海得拉巴开设了离岸中心。

根据印度国家软件与服务公司协会（Nasscom）与Zinnov联合发布的2026年报告 (link)，印度已发展成为全球最大的GCC中心，拥有超过2,100个中心，雇佣约236万人，创造了近1,000亿美元的收入。
