Philippines Raises Nearly 85 Billion Pesos in Retail Bond Auction

The Bureau of the Treasury of the Philippines has raised 84.9 billion pesos during the coupon setting for the 32nd offering of Retail Treasury Bonds, according to an official statement on Tuesday.
The 2.5-year bonds due 2029 carry a coupon of 6.875% at the price-setting auction Tuesday, and secured with bids worth a total of 188.6 billion pesos, or 6.3 times the 30 billion pesos initial offer.
The bonds will be offered by the government to the public from Tuesday to Oct. 7, 2027. They can be availed with a minimum investment of 5,000 pesos and in multiples of 5,000 thereafter, during the offer period.
