Ensign (ENSG) acquired eight facilities in Florida, four in Washington and seven in Colorado, all operated by its affiliates, the company said Friday in separate statements.
The facilities comprised 713 skilled nursing beds and 66 independent living units in Florida; 532 skilled nursing beds in Washington; and 760 skilled nursing beds and 47 independent living units in Colorado, the company said.
In addition, Ensign, through its Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT subsidiary, acquired the real estate and operations of Englewood Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation, a 118-bed skilled nursing facility in Pensacola, Florida.
Standard Bearer also acquired the real estate assets of five facilities that had operated under third-party triple-net leases. The facilities have a combined 755 skilled nursing beds and are now subject to long-term leases with Standard Bearer subsidiaries, Ensign said.
