韩国财政部长官李炯日周五表示，如有必要，韩国将考虑进一步减少国债发行，并承诺继续密切关注市场动态。
李炯日发表上述言论之际，韩国已决定在10月份将国债发行规模削减5万亿韩元（约合36.4亿美元），同时政府也承诺在必要时采取包括紧急回购债券在内的稳定措施。
李炯日在与韩国央行行长申铉松、金融委员会委员长李亿远（Lee Eog-weon）、金融监督院院长李灿珍（Lee Chan-jin）及国土交通部长官洪志善（Hong Jee-sun）举行的会议上讨论了这一问题。
这是李炯日自上月就任以来举行的首次此类会议。
他在会上表示：“如果高利率持续，信用评级较低的企业可能面临更沉重的再融资负担。政府将继续与相关机构合作，密切监测债券市场。”
在会议期间，李炯日还强调了密切监测房地产市场的必要性，指出首尔公寓价格的涨幅已连续五周放缓，而江南富裕地区以外的房价则继续上涨。
李炯日还强调需要继续落实韩元国际化的后续措施，并承诺将很快宣布放宽相关监管规定的举措。
