Cloudflare Launches New Data Platform for Developers

Cloudflare (NET) said Thursday it is launching Basin, a data platform designed for developers.
The product will allow clients to ingest, store, catalog and query analytical data in the tools they use without need for dedicated servers, the company said.
Basin stores data in an open format that any compatible tool can read directly, the company said, adding that collection, organization, and analysis will run on Cloudflare's network on demand.
Cloudflare shares were up about 1.2% in Thursday trading.
