欧洲市场的 反弹在一定程度上抵消了去年美国税收优惠政策取消 以及中国市场竞争加剧对需求造成的冲击 。
本季度初需求表现强劲，首席财务官瓦伊巴夫·塔内贾（Vaibhav Taneja）7月曾表示，特斯拉“以自2023年以来最大的订单积压量 (link) 结束了第二季度”。
继去年欧洲市场遭遇低迷——部分归因于对首席执行官埃隆·马斯克政治立场的反响——之后，截至8月，欧盟的注册量增长了约三分之二；在法国，Model Y成为所有车型中销量最高的汽车，这也是特斯拉车型首次登顶该榜单。
7月和8月，特斯拉上海工厂的出口量几乎翻了一番。
分析师预计，随着特斯拉“完全自动驾驶”（FSD）软件在欧洲的逐步推广，销量将进一步提升，目前该软件已在八个国家获得批准。
不过，随着马斯克将特斯拉的业务重心转向人工智能、自动驾驶汽车、类人机器人和能源领域，投资者越来越不再关注季度交付量。
特斯拉的机器人出租车服务目前已在得克萨斯州和佛罗里达州实现车内无需安全监督员的运营。上个月，该公司将其专门设计的“Cybercab”车型加入了奥斯汀现有的机器人出租车服务中。
