路透10月2日 - 根据周五公布的初步数据，受电动汽车需求强劲推动，英国9月份新车注册量同比增长12.1%，创下自2017年以来该月最高水平。
英国汽车制造商和贸易商协会（SMMT）的数据显示，上月英国汽车总注册量升至350,518辆
9月份，纯电动汽车（BEV）注册量增长36.3%，达到99,199辆，占市场份额的28.3%，这得益于车型选择的增多、制造商的折扣以及政府补贴
然而，今年前九个月，电动汽车销量仅占总销量的26.2%，远低于2026年规定的33%目标，甚至落后于去年的28%目标
