ChainCatcher 消息，Conway Research 创始人 Sigil Wen 宣布推出 Underdog，一款可在用户现有设备上运行的私有个人 AI。Sigil Wen 表示，Underdog 已获得 a16z、Khosla Ventures、Hummingbird VC、Anthology（Anthropic 与 Menlo Ventures），以及 Patrick Collison、Naval、Guillermo Rauch、Noam Brown、Thomas Wolf、Logan Kilpatrick 等机构与 AI 领域人士支持。
根据公告，Underdog 的使命是向数十亿人提供免费、可用、可靠且私密的 AI。团队提出 Underdog’s Law：当前前沿智能将在六个月内抵达用户设备。项目将从可在消费级硬件上运行的高速 AI 起步，通过协同设计模型与推理引擎，推进能力、速度、功耗与数据效率。
公告还称，Underdog 的研究覆盖智能体商务、机密推理，以及 AI 如何重塑互联网经济，并认为隐私与能力不必再相互取舍。
