Unilever's Food Exit is no Repeat of Its Ice-Cream Split

0705 GMT - Unilever's ice-cream separation made sense as a first step toward becoming simpler and more focused, analysts at Baader say in a note. Meanwhile, its food business is its highest-margin group, making for a harder exit, the analysts note. The food exit is not a repeat of ice-cream, they say, adding that, in fact, it is more of the opposite. Ice-cream had diluted growth and margins, while food is Unilever's most profitable but slowest-growing group, they say.
