Shattuck Labs (STTK) said Thursday it plans to evaluate its experimental drug, SL-325, in a phase 2 trial for patients with moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa, a chronic inflammatory skin condition.
The company said the trial is expected to enroll about 150 patients.
The primary goal is to measure the percentage of patients achieving a 50% reduction in abscesses and inflammatory nodules without an increase in abscesses or draining tunnels at Week 16. The company said it also plans to assess a 75% reduction, safety and tolerability.
The company expects to submit an investigational new drug application this month, with Week 16 data expected in H1 2028.
