路透纽约10月1日 - 根据最终敲定的规定，特朗普政府旨在降低“医疗保险”（Medicare）患者医院药品价格的一项规定，在豁免了与政府签署了单独“最惠国”定价协议的公司后，可能仅适用于少至四家制药商。
根据周三晚间发布的规定，联邦医疗保险监管机构计划豁免那些已与白宫签署单独协议的制药商参与名为“GLOBE”的定价模式的要求。
如果情况属实，该规则脚注指出，该定价模式将适用的剩余制药商数量仅为4家。规则中未点名具体公司。
该最终规则还大幅下调了政府对该模式预计节省的金额。美国卫生与公众服务部（HHS）目前估计，在该模式实施期间，该计划将使联邦医疗保险B部分的支出减少约4.4亿美元，而此前在拟议规则中预计的节省金额约为119亿美元。
针对导致预计节省金额减少的原因，美国卫生与公众服务部未予回应。
自去年起，特朗普已与包括辉瑞（PFE.N）、礼来（LLY.N）和诺和诺德（NOVOb.CO）在内的二十多家制药商签署协议，其中不乏全球最大的制药公司。据白宫经济顾问委员会称，这一药品定价举措在未来十年内可为各州政府节省276亿美元，为联邦政府节省366亿美元。
