The company said the first 5 kilogram GMP batch is targeted for completion by the end of October and is earmarked for its approved emergency-use program in Uganda during the current Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak.

The company added that a second 5 kilogram batch is targeted for completion by late November.

Galidesivir is a clinical-stage antiviral molecule with broad-spectrum activity against more than 20 RNA viruses, including high-priority threats such as Ebola, per the filing.
