Ecosys' IPO Oversubscribed By 206.7 Times

Ecosys' (KLSE:ECOSYS) initial public offering received an overwhelming response and was 206.7 times oversubscribed by the Malaysian public ahead of its listing on Bursa Malaysia's ACE Market, according to a Thursday filing.

The industrial services provider received 31,734 applications for about 5.93 billion shares, compared with 28.6 million shares initially offered to the Malaysian public.

The Bumiputera public portion was oversubscribed 136.77 times, while the other Malaysian public portion was oversubscribed 276.63 times.

The 11.428 million shares offered to eligible persons, 71.42 million shares placed with Bumiputera investors approved by MITI and 34.28 million shares placed with selected investors were fully subscribed or placed.

A total of 105.7 million placement shares were allocated to 1,721 investors, it said.
