Hyundai Motor (KRX:005380) unveiled the all-new sport utility vehicle Tucson in New York, which comes with a redesigned exterior, next-generation hybrid system, and Pleos Connect infotainment platform with Gleo AI, the automaker said Friday.
The lineup includes the Tucson XRT and XRT PRO variants. The hybrid powertrain aims to hit a fuel efficiency of up to 42 miles per gallon, while the plug-in hybrid version delivers 292 ps and an estimated 81 kilometers of all-electric range, the release said.
The all-new Tucson will launch in the domestic market later this year, with launches across North America, Europe, and other global markets to follow next year, it said.
Shares of Hyundai Motor fell over 1% in recent trade.
