Blackstone (BX), Bain Capital and Warburg Pincus are weighing offers for Fuji Media's Sankei Building property business, which could be valued at about 1 trillion Japanese yen ($6.32 billion) including debt, Reuters reported Tuesday.
Final bids are expected by the end of October, according to people familiar with the sale. BGO, the real estate investment arm of Sun Life Financial (SLF), is also preparing a binding offer, the report said.
Fuji Media plans to seek shareholder approval after selecting a preferred bidder.
Blackstone, Bain Capital and Warburg Pincus did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
