Namsun Aluminum CEO Resigns

Namsun Aluminum (KRX:008350) said Chief Executive Officer Kim Je-wook has resigned, effective Oct. 7,

Kim also stepped down from both his representative director and internal director roles.

Following the change, the company will be led by co-CEOs Cho Hyun-ki and Chung Soon-won, both of whom currently serve as representative directors of Namsun Aluminum, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

Cho previously held senior positions at Gwangju Bank, including deputy branch head and heads of HR support and Seoul sales.

Chung's background includes senior roles at Kia Corp. (KRX:000270), where he served as deputy general manager of the Chinese legal entity, head of sales and planning, and head of Hyundai Motor's (KRX:005380) China business office.
