ChainCatcher 消息，比特币早期贡献者、密码朋克 Amir Taaki 在 X 上表示，他被新加坡警方就“我从事的工作”盘问 6 小时后遭驱逐出境。这位英籍伊朗裔程序员称，自多年前赴叙利亚与库尔德人民保护部队并肩作战以来，他便不断与部分国家产生麻烦。
Taaki 称，仅在过去一年里，他还被阿根廷和墨西哥驱逐，并在塞尔维亚和日本被拘留。他表示，每次遇到这种情况他都会追问原因，但当局总是称只是随机检查，从不给出拘留或盘问的具体理由。“我在一份名单上，但我找不到任何关于哪个国家制裁我的信息。”
Taaki 长期专注比特币隐私，编写了 CoinJoin 和隐身地址的首批实现，创建了 libbitcoin，并创办英国首家比特币交易所，还撰写了确立比特币改进提案流程的 BIP 0001。他目前正在开发加密隐私协议 DarkFi。
