UnitedHealth Group Faces Texas AG Investigation Over Coverage Practices

UnitedHealth Group (UNH) is being investigated by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over allegations that it has engaged in "deceptive" and "unlawful" practices that denied Texans access to medically necessary healthcare, the AG said Monday.
The investigation follows reports of alleged unlawful practices in administering health insurance benefits and making patient-care decisions, according to a statement.
UnitedHealth Group didn't immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comments.
