ChainCatcher 消息，AMD 董事长兼首席执行官苏姿丰于 10 月 7 日下午约 4 时 44 分抵达首尔三星电子瑞草办公楼，与设备解决方案部门负责人全永铉副会长会面，距上次访韩约 7 个月。AMD 计算与图形集团负责人 Jack Huynh、副总裁 Joseph Macri 随行。苏姿丰表示，双方将讨论更广泛的伙伴关系，并称三星方面有许多合作伙伴；被问及是否会见李在镕时，她表示不便透露。
访三星前，苏姿丰出席首尔 AMD 玩家日，将三星与 SK 海力士称为核心供应链伙伴，并称因人工智能需求上升正在规划长期供应链。她表示，新一代 MI455 与 Helios 系统已开始出货且均采用 HBM4，获两家支持，HBM 合作不会止于一代。报道称，Instinct MI455X 搭载 432GB HBM4，较前代 MI355X 的 288GB HBM3E 增加 50%。她称内存供应非常紧张，正与客户优化用量并要求伙伴扩大生产。TrendForce 于上月 29 日预计，HBM 与普通 DRAM 共用有限先进制程产能，供应紧张或延续至明年。
报道称，双方今年 3 月签署以 HBM4 与下一代 DDR5 供应为中心的谅解备忘录，将三星定为 MI455X 用 HBM4 主要供应商，并讨论由三星代工生产 AMD 下一代产品。全永铉当时表示，三星可同时提供内存、代工与封装。
