Lemonade (LMND) has expanded its autonomous vehicle insurance coverage to include older Tesla (TSLA) models with HW3 onboard computers running the new full self-driving (Supervised) v14 Lite software, the insurance firm said Thursday.
Tesla drivers in Arizona, Colorado and Tennessee using HW3 with the v14 Lite software can receive a 30% discount on miles driven while autonomous features are engaged, Lemonade said.
Lemonade said it plans to roll out the expanded HW3 coverage to additional states.
Tesla users with vehicles running newer HW4 onboard computers continue to qualify for a 50% discount on those miles, the company added.
