Skydance (SKYD) completed its Warner Bros. takeover with roughly $17 billion in investment from Chairman David Ellison and his family, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing public filings.

Ellison, the son of Oracle (ORCL) co-founder Larry Ellison, and his family acquired around 1.4 billion shares in a stock offering tied to the $110 billion acquisition, Bloomberg said. MT Newswires could not immediately verify the filings.

Investors paid a syndication purchase price of $12 per share, the company disclosed in a Tuesday filing.

Skydance did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
