亚马逊一位发言人证实，公司今日在其零售部门裁员数百人。
该发言人表示：“我们对线下零售（Stores）业务部分团队做出调整，我们相信新架构能够更好助力我们完成核心工作目标。” 他补充道，亚马逊会持续评估团队架构，想方设法为客户开展产品创新。“作为本次调整的一部分，我们艰难决定裁撤少量岗位。”
此次裁员发生在过去一年多轮大规模裁员之后：亚马逊去年 10 月裁员 14000 人，今年 1 月再度裁员 16000 人。当时，亚马逊人力体验与技术高级副总裁贝丝・加莱蒂曾表示，公司并不打算每隔数月就开展大范围裁员。
即便如此，亚马逊今年仍实施多轮定向裁员。今年夏季，亚马逊就对自研 AI 大模型 Nova 所在业务部门进行过人员缩减。
