0221 GMT - The Malaysian stock market could remain volatile in 4Q amid higher oil prices, persistent Middle East geopolitical risks and elevated interest rates, Apex Securities analysts say in a note. The government's budget for 2027 could provide modest support through targeted household assistance and infrastructure spending, they say. Technology and energy infrastructure remain key growth themes. However, political uncertainty ahead of the next general election could weigh on sentiment, they add. Apex maintains its end-2026 KLCI target of 1770. The KLCI is 1.0% lower at 1616.51.
