Amlogic (SHA:688099) forecasts its attributable profit will rise 223% to 248% year over year to between 649.2 million yuan and 699.2 million yuan in the third quarter, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The system-on-a-chip maker attributed the forecast to higher shipments of core products, continued adoption of its high-end television system-on-chip products by major customers and an improved product mix.
Attributable profit for the first three quarters could rise 81% to 88% year over year to between 1.26 billion yuan and 1.31 billion yuan.
