近日，辽中区刘二堡镇皮家堡村获评全国示范性老年友好型社区，是辽中区唯一入选行政村。沈阳市本次共有14个村、社区获得国家级称号。
皮家堡村围绕老年人实际需求，重点推进农村老年居住环境改造、养老服务供给、老年人文关怀、老年人权益保障等工作。村里持续完善村级养老服务场所，升级老年活动设施，对村内基础设施开展适老化改造；常态化组织敬老主题活动，上门走访关爱老人，解决老年人生活照料、健康服务、精神慰藉等实际困难，营造尊老敬老的乡村氛围。
下一步，皮家堡村将持续巩固创建成效，补齐农村养老服务短板，优化老年友好生活环境，提升老年人获得感、幸福感、安全感，以养老服务提质助力乡村全面振兴。
