Prisjakt said Friday its subsidiary Prisjakt Sverige filed a lawsuit against Alpbahet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google seeking 21.4 billion Swedish kronor ($2.1 billion) in damages over alleged abuse of its dominant market position.

The claim covers losses linked to the European Commission's Google Shopping decision and Google's conduct in the period that followed, Prisjakt said.

The company said the amount ultimately retained by its subsidiary will depend on the outcome of a court ruling or settlement, after agreed distributions and external litigation funding costs are deducted.

Google did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
