JPMorgan Chase (JPM) is hiring Bank of America's (BAC) consumer and retail M&A banker Richard Peacock, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Peacock, who joined Bank of America more than a decade ago, was named co-head of the bank's newly created private capital M&A group earlier this year. The group was formed to help private equity firms monetize assets across sectors, the report said.

JPMorgan and Bank of America didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
