路透10月13日 - 页岩油生产商西方石油公司（Occidental Petroleum， OXY.N）周二在一份监管文件中表示，受 美伊冲突引发的供应中断担忧以及霍尔木兹海峡石油运输受阻推高原油价格 的影响，该公司第三季度全球平均实现油价较上年同期上涨32.6%。
美伊冲突加剧了市场对供应的担忧，并扰乱了霍尔木兹海峡的石油运输——该海峡承担着全球约五分之一的石油运输量，从而推高了油价。
9月，由于第三方天然气管道瓶颈及维护活动，该公司暂时削减了位于“美洲湾”（即墨西哥湾）部分设施的产量。
目前产量已部分恢复，随着第三方天然气管道瓶颈问题的解决，其余受影响的产量预计也将恢复。
7月至9月季度，布兰特原油基准价格平均为每桶89.27美元，较上年同期上涨31.2%。
欧西恩特第三季度全球平均实现原油价格为每桶 85.91 美元，而一年前为每桶 64.78 美元。
全球天然气平均实现价格为每百万立方英尺1.69美元，而去年同期为每百万立方英尺1.57美元（正值）。
全球天然气液（NGL）的平均实现价格上涨近26%，达到每桶24.63美元，而去年同期为每桶19.60美元。
