ChainCatcher 消息，据 Chainalysis 披露，在涉及加密硬件钱包制造商 Ledger 的盗窃事件中，损失最大的受害者之一自身也是诈骗者，其损失超过 60 枚 BTC，价值约 480 万美元，资金来自一起任务诈骗。
在该骗局中，参与者被付费雇用，为真实商品伪造销量和评论。随后出现“负余额”，参与者被告知，必须投入自己的资金才能获得报酬。9 月 22 日，该诈骗的幕后操作者将所得资金转入三个独立的 Ledger 地址。10 月 9 日，盗贼将三个地址全部清空，每个地址各通过一笔转账，将资金转入同一个钱包。该收款钱包被报告涉及被盗资金。
