South Korean semiconductor leaders delivered mixed performances, with Samsung Electronics flat at 232,000 won (about $174), while SK Hynix fell 1.66% to 1.419 million won.

Among Japanese tech stocks, Kioxia fell 3.23% to 14,690 yen (about $93), while SoftBank Group rose 0.77% to 5,351 yen.

Memory chip stocks were one of the main weak sectors in overnight U.S. trading, with Micron Technology (MU) and SK Hynix both falling more than 3%, a trend that has further heightened market focus on the memory chip industry.

The KOSPI has fallen for six consecutive trading days, indicating that the South Korean market remains under significant short-term pressure. As major heavyweights in the index, whether Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix can stabilize moving forward will continue to affect the overall performance of the South Korean stock market.
