BioAge Labs (BIOA) and Deep Origin have launched a multi-target AI-driven drug discovery collaboration that aims to speed drug development against novel targets by utilizing hybrid artificial intelligence and physics-based models, Deep Origin said Wednesday.

The partnership applies Deep Origin's computational drug discovery platform to find novel hits, or measurable activity, against BioAge-selected biological targets. BioAge then verifies these hits, leading to further clinical development, Deep Origin said.

Deep Origin added that the collaboration has reached its first milestone with its platform delivering multiple structurally distinct hits against the first target in less than three months.

Shares of Bio Age Labs were up 1.8% in Wednesday premarket activity.
