力拓集团第三季度铜产量保持稳定，其蒙古铜矿的强劲表现抵消了其他地区产量下滑的影响；与此同时，铁矿石销量小幅增长。
铜业务在力拓今年上半年盈利中占比超过三分之一，是该集团把握能源转型和数据中心推动的电气化需求增长的重要抓手。截至9月的三个月内，铜产量为20.5万吨。
力拓表示，由于矿石品位下降、短暂停产以及恶劣天气影响，其位于智利的Escondida铜矿产量下滑。不过，蒙古Oyu Tolgoi铜矿产量增长抵消了这一影响，该公司正在持续扩大当地地下矿开采规模。
与此同时，作为炼钢关键原料的铁矿石销量同比增长3%至9，080万吨。铁矿石仍是力拓最大的盈利来源。
力拓正在继续提升几内亚Simandou铁矿项目旗下SimFer矿的产量，而其核心澳大利亚铁矿业务产量保持稳定。
