0917 GMT - Sea's e-commerce platform, Shopee, could see 3Q earnings impacted by foreign exchange and tactical headwinds, DBS analysts write in a note. In Indonesia, Shopee's largest market, the rupiah has weakened while its Consumer Confidence Index in July fell to its lowest since September 2025, which may have affected sales, DBS says. Rival Pinduoduo's low price push in Malaysia and Singapore has become tough competition but Shopee appears to be protecting margins rather than matching consumer subsidies, DBS adds. Shopee's 3Q adjusted Ebidta is likely to match consensus expectations, but sales could slightly miss estimates by 2%-3%, DBS says.
