Elon Musk said he expects to launch rockets from a planned "Starbase Louisiana" site in less than three years. The new site, in a coastal area of the state known for duck hunting, is anticipated to be far larger than the Starbase site outside Brownsville, Texas.

In response to a question from an individual investor about his "current confidence level" about a Louisiana launch in 2029, he said the company's internal goal is 2028 before adding that 2029 was "highly likely."
