Deckers Brands, maker of footwear brands Hoka, Ugg, and Teva, lowered its revenue outlook for the year, sending its stock lower in after-hours trading despite reporting record revenue for the second quarter.
Deckers' stock was down 8% to $78.49 late Thursday afternoon, after closing down 0.3% at $85.28 in regular trading.
For its second fiscal year ended in September, Deckers said revenue rose to a record $1.48 billion, while earnings rose to $2.31 a share, including 28 cents a share from trade tariff refunds received in the quarter.
But investors were focused on its full fiscal year outlook for revenue of $5.7 billion to $5.75 billion.
That's down from its previous full-year guidance of $5.86 billion to $5.91 billion, issued as part of its first-quarter earnings on July 23.
