欧洲斯托克600指数收盘下跌1%。矿业股和银行股跌幅居前，食品饮料板块则上涨。欧洲银行股指数收于6月初以来最低水平。爱马仕因亚太地区销售表现令人失望而下滑。
科技股也随大盘走低，瑞银编制的一篮子欧洲AI“赢家”股票下跌6.1%。按指数点数计算，阿斯麦成为拖累指数最大的个股，投资者关注AI基础设施支出的可持续性。随着AI情绪恶化，西门子能源下跌8.6%；诺基亚下跌9.7%，此前公布的业绩喜忧参半。
欧洲股市近几周走势停滞，较8月高点下跌3.3%。市场对AI交易的担忧、法国债券市场抛售以及持续高企的油价都令市场承压。沙特阿拉伯发生致命袭击后，市场对供应的担忧加剧，布伦特原油升破每桶111美元。
MPPM交易主管Guillermo Hernandez Sampere表示：“本轮企业财报有可能推动市场摆脱当前交易区间，前提是欧元区内部的风险能够得到控制。”
其他个股方面，雀巢第三季度销售增长强劲，股价上涨1.1%。报道称，CVC正研究提出收购要约、将Verisure Plc私有化，推动Verisure股价上涨10%。西班牙银行Bankinter SA公布第三季度业绩后下跌7.6%。
