Wilmar International (SGX:F34), First Resources (SGX:EB5) and Bumitama Agri (SGX:P8Z) were among 10 companies issued notices by Singapore's National Environment Agency seeking information related to transboundary haze pollution, according to a Friday statement.

Other SGX-listed firms that received notices are Indofood Agri Resources (SGX:5JS), Kencana Agri (SGX:BNE) and Golden Agri-Resources (SGX:E5H) subsidiary Golden Agri International.

The agency is seeking details on their land concessions, links to associated companies in Singapore and Indonesia, and measures taken to prevent and combat fires during the dry season.

The development comes amid concerns over fires in Indonesia's Kalimantan region that may have contributed to haze in Singapore.
