Singapore's final 3Q GDP growth print will likely be revised higher despite softer-than-expected industrial production figures for September, OCBC's Selena Ling says in a note.
Industrial production growth 3.4% on year is still expected to lift the final reading of the manufacturing sector's 3Q growth to around 8.5% from the 7.5% advance estimate, says the chief economist.
OCBC expects Singapore's 3Q final GDP growth to be raised to 5.6% from the 5.4% advance estimate. The final GDP data will be released in November.
