ChainCatcher 消息，Strategy、Strive 等比特币财库公司通过优先股融资支持购入 135,979 枚比特币，占比特币最大供应量逾 0.5%；相关优先股市场规模约 120 亿美元。永续优先股没有固定到期日，可减轻再融资压力，并吸引不愿直接持有比特币的收益型投资者；但发行规模扩大也会增加股息支出。
持续融资购币依赖优先股在面值或接近面值交易，若价格跌破面值，新增发行的吸引力可能下降，公司也可能转向回购。CoinShares 研究主管 James Butterfill 表示，Strategy 最新周报显示，公司花费 1.93 亿美元回购 STRC，同期买入 267 枚比特币，并将优先股回购授权额度提高至 30 亿美元。回购可以降低未来股息成本，但也会与比特币购买争夺资金。
Bitwise 研究主管 Ryan Rasmussen 预计，ETF 长期仍将是更大的比特币需求来源，永续优先股则覆盖不同的收益型投资者群体，为市场提供另一股需求支持。Butterfill 认为，优先股可能放大市场周期：融资条件有利时支持购币，市场情绪转弱时，这种支持可能减弱。
