Birchtech Corp. was incorporated in Utah on July 19, 1983, and subsequently became a Delaware corporation in February 2007. The company is a provider of specialty activated carbon technologies, offering innovative solutions for air and water purification. It supplies patented and proprietary technologies for mercury emission capture to the coal-fired utility sector and is developing disruptive water purification technologies specializing in forever chemicals such as PFAS and PFOS.
